This is Kenya and Tanzania holiday tour covering the MUST visit game parks and reserves in Kenya and the Northern Tanzania tourist circuit. On this tour you will have a chance of seeing the great wildebeest migration is a spectacle to behold for any would be visitor to Masai Mara and Serengeti depending of the travel period. This tour can be taken at any time of the year.
In Tanzania, Ngorongoro Crater is said to have the world’s densest population of lion. In Lake Manyara lions have developed a liking for residing in the branches of trees, where they can both sleep and watch for prey whilst the Serengeti is notable for its large migratory herds of wildebeest and zebras with strings of predators in trail. The Ngorongoro crater also offers amazing wildlife viewing and scenery.

Day 01- Nairobi-Masai Mara
This morning we start the 10 Days Masai Mara, Nakuru ,Amboseli,Ngorongoro,Serengeti Safari Tour with a drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at our hotel and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve-one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Park’s are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousand of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles.

Day 02- Masai Mara Full Day
full day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5.Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Enchoro.The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Day 03- Maasai Mara-Lake Nakuru
Pre-morning game drive and after late breakfast leave the camp for Nakuru with picnic lunch at Narok arriving Nakuru in the evening if time permit proceed for short game drive.

Day 04- Nakuru-Amboseli
After early breakfast, morning game drive to L. Nakuru national park where you are going to see alot of flamingoes and other birds. You also have the chance to see the black and white rhino. There After depart for Amboseli via Nairobi with picnic lunch on the way arriving in the evening. If time allows, you will have short game drive to see Mt Kilimanjaro and big elephants.
Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. Optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast. Masai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another extensive ‘breezy’ game drive.

Day 05- Amboseli Full Day
Pre-morning game drive will be the perfect time for photographing the humbling and magnificent Mt.Kilimanjaro the highest peak in Africa. You also guaranteed to see the big elephants, giraffes, lions etc.

Day 06- Amboseli-Lake Manyara National park
Early breakfast then proceed for morning game drives exit the park and, we drive into Tanzania via the Namanga border. We also pass through Arusha to Lake Manyara National park with lunch enroute arriving in the evening. If time permit proceed for evening game drive and the main attractions are its rich bird life, tree climbing lions and its hippos, which you can see at a closer range than many other places dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 07- Lake Manyara-Serengeti National park
Morning game drives at Lake Manyara National park a shallow also hosts thousands of flamingos at certain times of the year and has diverse vegetation ranging from savannah, to marshes and acacia woodland, enabling a variety of wildlife habitats including butterflies. Later proceed to Serengeti national park arriving in the evening game drive enroute to the Lodge.

Day 08- Serengeti Full Day
After breakfast with picnic lunch proceeds for Morning and afternoon game viewing in Serengeti. Every year more than a million wildebeest, 200,000 Zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle gather to undertake their long trek to new grazing lands, followed by predator’s lion, leopard, cheetah, and hyenas. During their trek more than 8,000 calves are produced a day and thousands are killed by predators. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 09- Serengeti – Ngorongoro
After breakfast with picnic lunch proceed for Morning game drive, then leave Serengeti for Ngorongoro with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge,a river canyon cut a 100 metres deep through the volcanic soil of the Serengeti plains. Buried in the layers are hominids and remains of animals that lived and died more than 2 million years ago.
The guides will give you on site information of the gorge. Proceed to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 10- Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
after Breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro crater with your picnic lunch for a full day of tracking game in the crater floor. You will break for your picnic lunch at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. All the big five may be seen. This huge caldera or collapsed volcano is 250 square kilometres and 600metres deep. Its spectacular settings and abundance of wildlife makes it one of the natural great wonders of the world -is referred to as the eighth wonder of the world or the EDEN of Africa. Late in the afternoon drive back to Arusha to board your shuttle back to Nairobi.
