This tour allows you to visit Lake Naivasha, Hell’s Gate National Park, Crescent Island Game Sanctuary.

Day 01: Nairobi – Hell’s Gate National Park – Lake Naivasha

Depart Nairobi by road to Hell’s Gate National Park. Arrive at Hell’s Gate National Park after a 2 hour’s drive. Once at the Park, you will enjoy a game drive and spectacular views of the gorge.

The park provides a variety of wildlife, unusual flora and many species of birds and is one of the only two Kenyan Parks where climbing, walking and biking are allowed. Animals seen here include Bushbucks, Dikdiks, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests, Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys and Porcupines amongst others.
The park has historically been an important home for the rare lammergeyer vultures. Over 103 species of birds have been recorded in this park, including vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles.

Transferred to the Lodge for Check in and Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon at Leisure to  enjoy various activities available at the Lodge such as swimming, walking, horse riding or cycling at leisure.

Day 02: Crescent Island Visit – Nairobi

Breakfast then visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary – a peninsula or island on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha. A short boat trip from the mainland out into Lake Naivasha gives you access to the unique Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary.
A wide variety of wildlife, bird life and flora lives quite freely out there and as there are no predators to be found, quite happily as well.

There is a lot of easy to see game e.g. giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras and impalas. It is also a heaven for birds with + 200 species recorded. The lake has a lot of hippos, which you can easily spot from the island.
Among the resident birds are fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters, black crakes and a variety of herons. Hippos also live in the lake. A number of mammals can be seen grazing in the surrounding lake environs, such as zebra, impala, buffalo, giraffe, Kongoni and hippos. After the boat tide you will Return back to Nairobi.
